Precious Cargo Preschool & Childcare Opens New Hartville Location, Now Enrolling Families

HARTVILLE, OH — August 19, 2026 — Precious Cargo Preschool & Childcare has officially
opened its newest location in Hartville, Ohio, offering local families a new childcare option with
immediate availability for children of all ages. No waitlist as of this publication! Also looking for
staff as we grow! To celebrate the official opening, Precious Cargo is offering a limited-time
enrollment incentive.
Located at 414 S. Prospect Ave. in Hartville, the new center is now enrolling infants 6 weeks
through school-age children and currently has significant availability for families looking for
quality childcare in the Hartville and Lake Township community.
After months of planning and preparation, Precious Cargo is excited to officially welcome
families into the new facility and begin building what the organization sees as more than just

toward,” said Justin Evans, founder of Precious Cargo Preschool & Childcare. “We have a
beautifully renovated space, we’re hiring staff, we’re welcoming new children every day, and we

Unlike many childcare programs where families may face extended waitlists, Precious Cargo
Hartville currently has openings across age groups and is actively working to fill its
classrooms as additional staff members join the team.
The center is designed to serve children from infancy through school age, providing families
with an opportunity to have childcare and early learning needs supported under one roof.
Precious Cargo is also continuing to hire and add staff as enrollment grows, allowing the center
to expand its capacity while maintaining a strong focus on the individual needs of the children
and families it serves.
A Special Opportunity for New Families
To celebrate the official opening, Precious Cargo is offering a limited-time enrollment incentive.
Families who enroll by August 31, 2026, with a planned start date before September 4,
2026, will have $75 per-child enrollment fee waived.

More Than Just Childcare
As enrollment and staffing continue to grow, the organization is exploring opportunities to
expand the services and programming available within the Hartville facility, including the
potential for therapy services and additional programming designed to support children,
families, activities, extracurriculars, weekend rental space for parties and more.
“We have bigger ideas for this building and for the families we serve,” said Sara Rausch,
District Administrator. “Right now, our goal is to get the word out, welcome families through
our doors and build a strong foundation. From there, we want to continue looking at ways we
can provide even more resources and opportunities for children in our community.”

As a new childcare center in the community, Precious Cargo is asking local families,
businesses, schools and community members to help spread the word.
“We want Hartville to know that we’re here,” said Samantha, the Hartville center
Administrator on site. “If you know a family who is looking for childcare, please send them our
way. We have room, we’re growing our team, and we’re excited to fill this building with children
and families from the community.”
The organization hopes the Hartville community will play a role in helping the new location grow
into the larger vision Precious Cargo has planned for the space.
